Baiona
The last stage of the Portuguese Way along the coast is the Camino de Santiago from Baiona to Santiago. This section starts in the beautiful village of Baiona. Located in the heart of the Rías Baixas, Baiona is an elegant fishing village.
Walking from Baiona to Santiago along the Atlantic coast makes this route ideal for the summer months. Along the way, we can enjoy the beauty of the Cíes Islands.
We will then arrive in Redondela, where the coastal and inland Portuguese Ways meet. We will also visit Padrón, birthplace of the most famous Galician poet, Rosalía de Castro, as well as a city renowned for its Padrón peppers.
Finally, we will reach our destination: Santiago de Compostela.
